Dupree's Diamond News |
Anyone used to read this? Who published it? What are they doing now?
Edit: From an add in this magazine I bought a "freedom fighter's hat" (living in cold Chicago) before it was a "Taliban hat". I still have it, but can't feel right wearing it.

Re: Dupree's Diamond News |
There's a thread on lossless legs where someone has scanned some copies.

Re: Dupree's Diamond News |
As I indicated on that old thread I have most of them. I need help scanning them in as I do not know the dance steps. I'm going over to LL to check that thread out now.

It looks like garageboy is only scanning Xeroxed (that brings you back) copies handed out at shows. They had a magazine towards the end which I didn't see. Also, they are planning a dl on LL in a zip file, but not here. I'll post @ LL, but I would like them on the archive.

Re: Dupree's Diamond News |
10-4 Ghostrider. Used to read that back in what 89-95? I used to pick up old editions at a used book store. Dvorak was the Editor/Publisher's last name? Great magazine was the only way back then (pre WWW) to get reviews and interviews. I remember the issue with Jerry scuba diving and one issue on the cover was "Most Importatnt Dead Show" real insightful articles. Loved the ads and of course the Tape Traders Section in the back. Do you remember 1-800-RUN-DEAD?wish I could find my old copies. Think it was done on a Mac...
